In addition to these ones, another fundamental juridical source for the historian of education is represented by the rules issued by the Ministry of public education. In fact, as above men-tioned, ministerial decrees, writs and adminis-trative circulars constitute an inescapable source for historians of schools, since they discover to us the particular educational policies of each government and of each ministry.
