Digital Archives

Archives have always been useful tools for the carrying out of historical researches, giving to the historians access to large harvest of information for quantitative and qualitative enquiries.

Information Technologies and Internet give the opportunity to combine the accuracy of the information of archives to their interactivity and usability potential, in order to provide the historian with direct access to the sources to which the archive information are related to.

This Section of the History On Line Portal provide access to a collection of digital archives collecting and presenting  different typologies of possible sources that can be used for historical interpretation
